S10e g970u T-Mobile supported? - GSM-Forum

Hello team

I searched for available functions for Samsung S10e (sm-g970u) in chimeratool.com and i found that carrier relock for T-Mobile phones are supported; but in the software only appears: Network Factory Reset, RMM Remove and Knox Guard Remove.
Does chimera support this phone for unlock?

Hello,

Yes we do but if the device does have a high security patch, then we wont highlight the Carrier relock on the tool, because the service cannot work on them. Of course the method will be updated , but we need time.

We do support the CARRIER RELOCK for the following binary versions:
- Binary 2 (U2)
- Binary 1 (U1)

We have to note here, that some clients of ours used combination file:
PDA Version: FA90_G970USQU4ATJ1
Phone Version: G970USQU4ATF1 [june 2020, rev1]

However, we are not sure if it is safe to do so. It is up to you to decide. Although we can say that we do not suggest it.

Just tested the solution, it works!

G970U relocked, converted to U1 same bit keeping "unlocked" modem, changed CSC to remove TMobile bloatware and restrictions, finally disabled updates to avoid losing the "unlock".

I think Chimera Team should enable G975U and G973U with same builds for carrier relock.
