This has nothing to do with Android version, but instead with encryption type. This method only worked on devices with FDE that were decrypted without entering the passcode. Modern devices, with FBE require correct passcode to decrypt the data. | |

Member: 25996 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 254 | It doesn't matter what you disable on devices with FBE encryption like this one. User data will remain encrypted until you enter a correct passcode. If you need data, the only possible option is passcode bruteforce. Samsung uses FBE on phones that shipped with Android 9, so A10, A20, A50, S10, Note 10 and everything that's more recent. |
