Changes To The ChimeraTool Licence Structure

We first launched ChimeraTool back in 2011, and we’ve always valued the feedback we receive from our users. After listening to what you had to say about our products and licences, we decided to update our licence structure. We created the new licences with our users’ best interest in mind, so we really hope that you will find the new licence types more suited to your needs!

Below we collected the most important pieces of information about our new licences, and how they compare to the old ChimeraTool licence structure.

BlackBerry 12 (Discontinued)

Unfortunately, this licence type is no longer available in our store. If you currently have a valid BlackBerry 12 licence you can keep using ChimeraTool the same way you always have - but when your licence expires, you are only going to be able to purchase one of our brand-new, more comprehensive licenses.

Our newly introduced licences are ChimeraTool START, ChimeraTool PRO and ChimeraTool PREMIUM, they are all compatible with every mobile phone brand we currently support: Samsung, Huawei, HTC, LG, etc - and including BlackBerry phones as well, of course.

Introducing The New ChimeraTool Licences

Previously we had three licence types available:

The “All Modules 12”, which allowed you to use ChimeraTool with every brand we support for 12 months, the “Samsung 12” which you could only use with Samsung devices for 12 months, and the “BlackBerry 12” which let you use the tool exclusively with BlackBerry devices for 12 months – this BlackBerry-specific licence is no longer available in our store.

Samsung

Our old “Samsung 12” licence remains the same, the only thing that has changed is its name. We recommend our ChimeraTool Samsung licence to users who only wish to use the software specifically for repairing Samsung telephones and do not wish to use it for other brands. Currently more than 1 500 Samsung models are supported, covering more than 99% of Samsung telephones in the market.

The ChimeraTool Samsung licence is valid for one year and includes unlimited use of most procedures. Furthermore, this licence includes access to every ChimeraTool software update we publish during the validity period. When you purchase this licence you only receive the licence – extra credits, if needed, can be bought separately.



The old “All Modules 12” licence evolved into three different types in the new system. We now have the ChimeraTool START, ChimeraTool PRO, and ChimeraTool PREMIUM licences available for you to choose from. All three of these licences allow you to work with a wide variety of mobile devices in ChimeraTool – every brand that we currently support (Samsung, Huawei, HTC, BlackBerry and many more) are all included in these licences. START

The ChimeraTool START licence is valid for 3 days. It includes 10 runs of each procedure and it is compatible with every supported brand: Samsung, Huawei, HTC, LG, etc.

The ChimeraTool START licence is a great option if you would like to try the full software before purchasing one of our bigger, more comprehensive licences.

You can only buy this type of licence once and you need a PayPal account to complete your order – credits cannot be used to buy this licence.

If you decide to upgrade to a ChimeraTool PRO or PREMIUM licence after your ChimeraTool START licence expires, the original price of your START licence will be deducted from your PRO or PREMIUM purchase.

This licence is only available on the chimeratool.com store. When you purchase this licence you only receive the licence – extra credits, if needed, can be bought separately.

PRO

The ChimeraTool PRO licence is the best option for professionals in the phone repair industry who work with different brands and need a reliable companion in their job.

This licence is valid for 1 year and it can be used with any mobile device we currently support (Samsung, Huawei, HTC, LG, BlackBerry, etc). Any software updates made to ChimeraTool are included in this licence. The ChimeraTool PRO licence allows you to perform an unlimited number of procedures, but please note that certain procedures are only available with extra ChimeraTool credits.

This licence can be bought through a reseller or on the chimeratool.com store. When you purchase this licence you only receive the licence – extra credits, if needed, can be bought separately.

PREMIUM

The ChimeraTool PREMIUM licence is the ideal choice for phone repair businesses who work with a lot of phones from various brands, and who want to be able to use one licence on different computers – without having to wait 48 hours between every switch.

The ChimeraTool PREMIUM licence is valid for 1 year and it can be used with any supported mobile device. Any software updates published for ChimeraTool are included in this licence, while the licence validity lasts.

The ChimeraTool PREMIUM licence allows you to perform an unlimited number of procedures (certain procedures are only available with extra ChimeraTool credits). This licence also provides access to priority support. The exclusive Authenticator dongle is included with all ChimeraTool PREMIUM purchases – this device ensures a faster and more seamless authentication process for our premium users.

This licence is only available on the chimeratool.com store. When you purchase this licence you only receive the licence and the Authenticator – extra credits, if needed, can be bought separately.
