Member: 1861256 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Blackberry 9900 Changing Vendors I've unlocked it then repaired IMEI and the phone was working fine. I've changed the vendor to one of our local vendors to get rid of AT&T logo. Now the phone is too bad with handling any network and also wi-fi. I've tried to change it back to AT&T but it is not available in the list of vendors. I've tried to install the software also but no luck. How can I solve it?? |

Vendor ID change has nothing to do with the signal strength, this is why I don't understand the context between this function and signal loss... | |

I'll try to get back to AT&T with the software after so many tries, The phone is now stock while booting and your app won't recognize the phone. What should I do? |

Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 24,098 | Maybe stupid question, but IMEI number is allowed by the network? I'm asking you this only because VSM(logo) contains logo and few operator specific settings, but if you do not have network coverage or it seems you do not have, then it should be some other related problem. I believe not it is because of the VSM reset function... |

Member: 1861256 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I think it is related to redio files from the installer. Normally, I should get the selection of the network type even if there is no sim card (it will be there and you can see it but it'll be disabled) I know that because I do the following: 1- Direct Unlock (mep 0) 2- IMEI repair I tried the phone it was working with 4G appears. I've decided to remove AT&T logo so I complete this steps 3- Changing vendors (the phone went dead) 4- Changing Software (the phone turns on normally) when I try to use it with a sim card, the phone take a long time to get a network with gprs only and cannot connect to some wireless networks. I used my other blackberry Z30 hotspot and I was able to connect the 9900 to it but it was really slow. So again, I'm sure it is related to software. |
