well my customer upgraded to marshmallow yesterday and it partially failed, then had to do a hard reset and everything was fine. I then downgraded the firmware to 5.1.1 with Odin. re-ran the tool and it was successful, then proceeded to upgrade back to 6.0.1

I honestly didn't think it would work, but it did

Just tested it. Did not work. You cant downgrade firmware, try searching sboot 5.1.1 and flash it for frp removal. Then go back to sboot 6.0.1.

There is no need to downgrade the entire rom. Just downgrade the sboot and then reset FRP then flash original sboot back. That simple.
