Member: 2705712 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | GC Pro Key questions 1. GC Pro Key and GC Pro Box do the same thing correct? 2. I have heard it can unlock sprint phones. Can it unlock a virgin mobile galaxy s7 (CDMA) for use on a GSM carrier? Note I am rooted and can return to an earlier firmware version. Currently I am on PG1. Private messages are also welcome. |

The difference between the box and dongle is that the box comes with the cables, notably the UART cable used on New Samsung phones. If i were you i would get the box for sure. And yes, GCPRO is Sprint king. I am not sure about the Virgin phones .:112:. Sent from SM-N920P using Tapatalk |

Member: 1283129 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 135 | GCPro is just a USB dongle. For all functions you need a UART port (you can use UART port from other box or buy cable) It is confusing to choose which box. Comparing solutions GCPro is the most powerful solution. They consistently have solutions other boxes don't. I find the other boxes easier to use but when they don't work I use the GCPro and frequently it does jobs other boxes can't. Really you need a few boxes. The others are the small hammer. GCPro is the big hammer. Also yes it unlocks Sprint phone for use in the USA but it is not 100% solution. When new firmware come out it takes a few weeks/months for them to catch up with the new security. But mostly 90% of phones like Note 5, S7, etc... very easy to do with GCPro. Only headache is to enable GSM, set APN, some are easier than others. For Sprint phones for use in the USA GCPro is an excellent choice. It is so cheap, fix 2 phones it pays for itself. |
