Gc pro key + box (without card)
 

I purchased the GC PRO KEY and received it a couple days ago. Little did I know that without the UART port and cable I am unable to write MEID Certs. So now that I have come to that realization, my question is, can I purchase the GCPROBOX without the CARD/ACTIVATION to use SOLELY for the UART port? So I'm thinking I'll insert the KEY and the DONGLE into 2 seperate USB ports and It'll function as the BOX would if it was ACTIVE? If this isn't possible, then I'm guessing I could just purchase an ADAPTER/EMULATOR to use as a UART port?

if u have another box u can use their uart port.
unless u don't have any other boxes such as z3x, octopus or even bst...they all come with boxes so u can use their ports
