For older then PH,PI Baseband versions,you should use steps from how to use exynos Imeicert write helpfile.

All you need is run exynos unlock and then write cert using modem port.

I did reset the EFS previously if that matters..

Why reset EFS if it says no need to reset efs why, always read the phone first and write cert and everything works my log says it all...

By the way I use uart to accomplish it

You mean the modem port right? If you mean UART, I've tried connecting it through my Octopus and it doesn't work.

Also, in a different S6 Active thread, it said reset efs, drk fix, then write cert. Am I screwed now?

My mistake about serial port, I used uart so didn't need to select modem port just box port pm me team viewer I'll help
