Member: 2567774 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 255 | Do GCPro team have solution The instructions for Invalid SIM after unlock in the Helpfile say to use Repair Meid task. This does not seem to be working when i plug the C3300K cable and enter *#0*# with phone connected. *#0808* does not work, only ##3424# works for UART->PDA and Qualcomm USB settings for MTP+ADB. My phone picked up service right away after I flashed mj4 modem. If your IMEI is clean, it should work. of course you ahev to enable GCF also. *** luck |

here is how to enable GCF Dial *#0011# and in the service menu do the following Click (menu) then (key input) then input Q then (Ok) Click (menu) then (back) Click (menu) then (key input) then input 0000 then click (Ok) Wait for about 15 seconds then a menu will pop up, from there follow these procedures: Click (UMTS) then (DEBUG SCREEN) then (PHONE CONTROL) then (NETWORK CONTROL) then (GCF) then the top option. From there you may press the home button and go to Settings and change the mobile networks to either Automatic or GSM. | |

Member: 2567774 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 255 | Update So after i flashed the MJ4 Modem file i got no more "Invalid SIM" message. Thats good, and for the GCF settings they were already enabled. The menu was a lot different then the way you said but all in all it doesn't show "Invalid SIM" anymore. I am able to select GSM or automatic settings. I don't have a active SIM to test it with but shouldn't the SIM's carrier name show up in settings? I have a AT&T SIM and a Metro SIM i tried and neither will show the carrier name in settings. Is there a way to tell if the unlock was a success besides an active SIM? I have heard i should re-do the unlock too after flashing the modem. Also, KNOX remained 0x0. Thanks for you guys help. |

Member: 2183509 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | You are welcome. The only way I use is try with an active simcard. I am positive your phone is unlocked now. U don't need to redo the unlock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Member: 2567774 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 255 | (Update) So i did try an active SIM through AT&T and i got no service, nor any notice that i was even connected to the network. It was on GSM mode and nothing. I decided to try the unlock once again with GCP and it was success again but still seems to not be unlocked. Any idea? Btw i still have the MJ4 modem and no "Invalid SIM" notification. |
