As there is no SU in log, but still I want to confirm do we need to root for such operation or not? Thanks for sharing.

When you use a eng boot root you have root access without SU.
That is why you cant see SU version.
He has the eng boot root. You can root, unlock and knox 0

Look closer my friend log shows the phone is unsecured and it's rooted... Look again
