Sprint GCF Doesn't Work on 5.x

New "Sprint GCF" function does not work on Android 5.x for G900P, G860P, N910P, and N915P. Even after choosing the serial port for the unlocking process, doing the manual steps in the service mode is necessary. Otherwise phone never has signal.

It does work on Android 6 for G900P and N910P - no need to do the manual steps.

Please add support for GCF on 5.x.

Thanks.

To get GCF on these devices, you'll need root
once you have root you can issue the manual adb command

Yes I'm aware of how to do that.

What you're not aware of, is that GC Pro added the GCF function in the last update, so that it's done automatically without doing that. But it doesn't work on Lollipop

Can be done both ways, I prefer the no root nv 0x03B3 method.

I prefer the method that doesn't involve changing NV items or even connecting the phone to a computer at all...

Even if you're changing manually by keypad, you're essentially changing the NV item. FYI

And by the way you've made a completely fool of yourself when you posted this about N920V which happens to be a hybrid with Qcom qcn.

"A QCN file....

From an Exynos phone...

Hahaha. Good one."
