Hello
Install shotuct manager light search apn open apn setting and set apn which your carrier need.

After the unlock on 6.0 how are you selecting the network mode GSM

Also you can open the apn's from adb using this command
adb shell am start com.lge.SprintHiddenMenu/com.lge.SprintHiddenMenu.iot.IotHiddenMenuMain

Well I can not edit or add apn. Android verison is ZVB.
I need internet to work on this one. The adb command above I tried and it said extra permissions needed.

No downgrade this model at all
You are lucky that it was failed many people downgrade there g4 and g flex 2 and result with dead phone completely bricked with qualcomm qhs usb 9008 no dead boot repair
So be careful
