hi i tried to do imei repair for g925a it show on your post that you did not use any root. but when i did the box give me error that phone is not rooted. can you please help me.

Before doing anything, how do you root this phone? I've tried every root method but couldn't root it. If phone can be rooted then unlock, and repair can be done. Please share how to root, thanks

There is not root, you need to wipe efs, flash sboot then use gcpro to write cert

Without root, without backups and just wipe EFS is very dangerous procedure. You could brick the phone permanently. I would not recommend anyone doing this. If GCPro support team says it's OK to do, then maybe..You'll have different IMEI too.

Obviously you don't know what your doing, wiping efs only deleted/unlocks/ messes up DRK but gcpro writes cert and fixes DRK if you have sboot or custom program

IT'S NOT VERY DANGEROUS

Support team. Please clarify for us. Galaxy S6 Edge + at&t G925A 5.1.1, can be unlocked this way and it's safe. Will it mess up original IMEI? I think it would since you write certificate from other phone. I can understand if the phone was already messed up by bad unlock then you would do it this way to revise it. But would you recommend unlocking this way on a new working phone? If not, please let us know.

Hello
GCPro do not support direct unlock s6,s6edge,edge plus,note 5 other then TMOBILE and SPRINT.

IMEICERT Write this option is provided to write/restore/repair phone own imeicert only, using for unlocking via other certs is we do not recommend it.

efs reset in download mode is only recommended if phone is null and baseband is unknown due to security corruption or if normal mode reset efs not work.

Did you require the sboot file? Or only those 3 steps you listed in your log?
The instructions are a little confusing when it comes to when we need the engineering firmware/sboot img files and when we don't.

Can you help help clarify this?

Honest to *** this software is the worse thing ever. I wasn't able to unlock or write cert not a SINGLE time using this GCPRO key.
all models have the same option and you can't tell which option works with it or doesn't.
Plus the help finder is very confusing and the developer doesn't answer questions.
He always claim WORLD FIRST unlock but nothing working.
I'm throwing it in garbage and wait for Z3X or Octo plus these guys the only trusted developers I can work with.
