Hello
To enable diag other then samsung you need root.
You can try user vpstudio advice put phone in FTM mode and repair via diag port too.

I'm able to get root, then open DIAG Port, then GCPro says it is successful on the IMEI repair, but I reboot the phone and there is still no change... Can anyone shed light on this?

Possible problem you have not changed method list NV_Method to NEWQC_Method ?
Retry and post log when you have any issue.
