Member: 3017742 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Huawei P40 Pro updates don't work I am trying to unbrick a P40 Pro. I have tried different firmware updates via HiSuite Proxy and dload. The updates where always successful, but the device still doesn't work. Some downgrades said they succeed even though they didn't and others fail. The device fails to boot and hangs on Huawei logo before shutting down, but recovery and fastboot work perfectly. Something really weird is that the build number I get in adb when typing in the command "fastboot oem get-build number" is different to the base, custom and preload packages. The build number is ELS-N29 11.0.0.208 (C432E3R5P3) and this doesn't change. All the packages are the latest update 102.0.0.276. I am using a standard USB cable (not a Harmony TP one). The last thing I tried was installing a full firmware ELS-N29 102.0.0.218(C432E3R6P5) with a dload and although it said update success, nothing has changed according to adb. Any idea why this could be? |
