Member: 2406342 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Safe to update iOS? Sprint phone. My very first post. I have been a lurker for a while and here's my first query. I bought an Sprint unlocked iPhone 6+ from eBay. I use the phone in India and it works fine. A friend of mine had a similar phone and when he factory reset it the phone re-locked. That has made me paranoid wrt upgrading iOS. My IMEI returns the following info. Initial activation policy is Sprint but next tether is Verizon. I could find no information online about a case such as this. Can someone please look at the below and tell me if it's safe to upgrade iOS without a risk that the phone would re-lock? Product: iPhone 6 Plus Model: IPHONE 6 PLUS SILVER 64GB SPRNT-USA Version: 8.1.3 Unbrick: True First Unbrick Date: 12/14/14 Last Unbrick Date: 03/25/15 Activation Policy ID: 2174 Activation Policy Details: US Sprint/MVNO CSIM Locked Policy Next Tether Policy ID: 2023 Next Tether Policy Details: US Verizon LTE MM N61/N56/N51/N48/N42 Activation Policy Purchase Country: United States Sold To Name: SPRINT PURCH AGENCY NEXTEL SYS CORP Carrier: US Verizon LTE MM N61/N56/N51/N48/N42 Activation Policy Lock Status: Locked Find My iPhone: ON Thank you. |
