charging symbol on but won't charge above 1%

I replaced the battery months ago without issue. I forgot to charge my phone last night and it died. Now when I plug it in it will turn on and show 1% and even with it plugged in and showing that it's charging it won't go above 1% and dies after a couple minutes before rebooting again.

Even stranger is sometimes when it reboots it will show a 100% battery before dying again after a couple minutes.

I suspect this is a charging port issue however I'd like to get a second opinion or two before ordering the part and going through the hassle, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

You must add a 2.2k resistance to stabilize the cpu in communication between Tigris and Cpu
