Member: 2705098 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Just a thought, haven’t tried it , so don’t know if it will work. Just an idea at the moment... iOS 11 can only be updated to on 64bit devices, is there a way of writing a 32bit device info (model, serial etc) on to a 64bit device to trick Apple servers into thinking its a 32bit device and can’t be upgraded to ios11...so when you restore it , it restores the iPad to 10.3... does anyone know if this is even possible??? Because on the 32bit devices it only check serial numbers, could you put a 32bit nand programmed for an old 32bit iPad on to a 64bit device???jay I know if you remove certain resistors, an iPad will come up as an iPhone or Apple TV etc, so could you maybe trick it into thinking it’s a totally different device ( like an old 32bit device) Need someone with a bit more know how to give some input.
