The main drive for apple is to increase sales, apple is a company from day one that wants all for them self. I remember days one from IBM, APPLE & Microsoft... MS became the OS of choice and now BillG a Billionaire because he provided an OS that everybody was able to use and change. At that time IBM and APPLE were left behind because they were pushing the ideology what is now the APPLE you know, once you buy one of their hardware they "OWN" you. Once Google get into the game APPLE will be left behind again. APPLE started to invest lots of their money early by giving ipads to schools so they indoctrinate kids at young age, once they become *****s all they want is an apple device (smart approach) and all this people have no idea why they feel like buying an apple device. What bad is about letting other person use a lost device? data is not at risk since the device is wiped out clean anyway. If you lost your phone or if you every had, did you give $100 or $200 to the person who gave it back or did you just say thanks ???? that is how much it will const you to get a replacement (refurbished ) from apple. APPLE should have a "return a lost and found device" and we will pay you $200 Last edited by cisco2017; 10-18-2017 at 03:10. |

Apple makes available a deployment server to large companies to maintain the devices given to their employees, they can lock and unlock, etc, etc... I don't have the resources to do this, but maybe some one out there with a bit of cash can do this. (send me the ip once you do it ) hint hint And I see that WL updated their software to include a real memory wipe out - thanks to who ever relay. |

Second thing : if u sell device "unlocked" that way are you gonna tell the buyer that in order to activate the device they need to change ip address here and there ??? |

And you need to disclose you are selling a unlocked device anyway, or you are deceiving your clients, and they will know because the SN will not match the case. About the server, they actually do. | |
