here's latest firmware (S040).

the firmare you provided i think i already tested before. still got problem which cannot turn on.

tested steps.
- flashed firmware:
1) Lenovo_A316i_ROW_S034_140116
2) Lenovo_A316i_S040_140730
- format whole flash

problem before flash
stuck at lenovo logo

problems after flash
Can't turn on power
No turn on vibration
No charging animation

- battery is ok
- can detect when plugged in usb cable to pc.
- sp flash tool - memory test emmc ok
- can successfully flash the phone but won't turn on.

anyone know what is the problem and how to fix this ?

So, have you tested with flash file i posted earlier in this thread ?

Yes. I have tested the firmware u posted in this thread, but no luck same as before after flashed can't turn on.

any other way to fix it ?

Yes.

Reflash globe firmware, and after,
Try flashing some other, without flashing preloader.
Lets see what will happen.

Probably different hardware. Globe is PHilippines operator btw.

I found that there are 2 different versions, and probably 2 different hardware.
One is "normal" ROW model, and another is for Malaysia Region.
Under that second model, there is GLOBE and MAXIS customized version of firmware ...
So... you are tied to one of those two. Globe rom, you already have ...
If you really want MAXIS rom ... well, i can upload, but its also customized.

We should shorten this whole thing...

You have specific hardware a316i phone,
It works with globe firmware only.
Stick with it, and thats all.

End of story.

I found that there is another ver. on the net "Lenovo A316i 4.2.2 ALPS JB3 MP V130"

downloaded but no password, so can't test.

Do you have this version ? or anyone share it ? thanks.

In post #3 you wrote that phone is working with globe firmware, so ...

I already lost a lot of time with this case, so i consider it finished.
