I did a restore with win32imager, tried different cables, same thing. In ftm mode only shows menu

same issue, Can't simunlock. Using Direct mode is successful for s-off and cid write, but fail on unlock.

Sorry, but you have to read first.
First you have to read this post again, and then you have to read the name of the button you are trying to press. Don't you think that "DESIRE SERIES ONLY" is written there for a reason?

So if you have a problem - be so kind to include at least your model name/ID, instead of useless "same problem", otherwise noone will be able to help you.

hey guys, i also want to s-off and unlock a HTC ONE A9 AT&T phone but i cannot get into FTM mode, either with pressing buttons or with the XTC Tool. It just reboots the phone normaly. Can you guys help me :)

Phone in download mode says

SD NOT MOUNTED but i connected the xtc clip like 1000 times and the cable is also ok (no cuts or what so ever),

when i press the Direct s-off I get of course the Error:

I`ve already did this in first place as Im not new to unlocking or repairing of Smartphones :) but XTC is sometimes really a pita...

Then it's just not connected right. A9 can be hard to connect. I usually use the original microSD holder and just push it hard :)

Hahaha, sounds dirty. But even if i press it as hard as i can, and it is fitted, its not reading the sd...i will try again and report. Thank you!

The sd tray is really bad on these phones, I get connection after many tries, but it works, also just want to confirm that A9 sprint conversion works.
