Can anyone please guide me step by step unlocking Desire 520. Try lot but not success.

Any way of removing the patten lock on the phone????

1.Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
2.Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
3.Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4.Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

desire 520 got no factory reset option under fastboot menu or elsewhere.

don't give wrong information please. don't even boot-loader unlock

Just S-OFF phone, change cid to 11111111 and write any files to phone from support after and all will be reseted.
