Your phone is G3U ?

"IMEI checking" is for unlock, not for IMEI repair.
To repair IMEI - save imei.txt by entering new IMEI in the SD editor and repeat the procedure.

You don't need to change serial number.

If you need assistance with IMEI repair - post here a log or a screenshot of the error.
