Desire X/SV/C/V/U/200/300/500/600/One V/etc IMEI repair manual

Dear customers,

If your phone has no "writeimei" command in fastboot mode, here are the steps to repair IMEI (IMEI2):

- If your phone is not S-OFF, please make it S-OFF using the desired method (direct or SD (offline) mode)
- Connect your phone in fastboot mode
- Go to "Legacy" tab and press "Step 2. Switch to modem mode". WARNING! You must issue this command as a first command after phone was powered on!
If you will use any other command prior to switching to modem mode (e.g. read phone info, etc, it will fail in most cases)
- Wait for the phone to switch into modem mode (you may use the manual from here as well: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f961...ngdom-1967505/)
- Perform IMEI or IMEI 2 repair

Please note you must use XYC 2 Clip Tool 1.06 or higher for this.

Desire 500 single sim version without writeimei command in fastboot:

Does not work in offline(sdcard) mode also.
S-OFF successful, bootloader unlock- also. I even downgraded hboot(was 1.03.001 up to 1.01.001) but still no success.

The question is: do I have to put the SIM card of the clip to SIM try of the phone as described in legacy tab?! As Desire 500 is with micro sim slot and I'm a bit afraid to cut the clip SIM...when I try without SIM I'm able to activate modem port, soft can see it and connect to it successful but don't read/write any info in this mode...

Please post complete information from XTC2Tool after reading info in fastboot mode.

desire 500 install driver in modem mode. but xtc2tool dont show com ports. Cant choose anything

Run software as administrator please. (Run click on exe -> Run as administrator)

I can't find answer- need cut xtc2clip smartcard to micro or not? Smartcard must be inserted into phone sim slot, when in legacy tab try switch phone in modem mode?

The answer is NO.
There is no legacy phones with microSIM.

Thank's for answer. Then please help repair imei on my my HTC desire 500 (dual sim) Z4DUG. I made security off, super cid via SD mode, but imei not repaired via SD mode. Can't repair imei via direct mode too. Direct mode:

... (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
Execution time is 17(ms)
OKAY

In SD mode looks like all ok, but really imei not repaired

Guys, I don't understand, do you read at all?
Have you read the FIRST topic of this thread? Your posts are just a spam, that will confuse other customers.

It's clearly said - use LEGACY mode. But instead of this, you try to use SD and Direct modes, and post useless screenshots and error descriptions. Why?
