I didn't say XTC2 CLip. I said SmartCard.
It's clearly said in the manual - INSERT SMARTCARD INTO SIMCARD SLOT.

Or did you connect xtc2 to SIMCARD SLOT?

Did you insert the smartcard inside the phone as a simcard?

"It's" - what it's? Drivers? The drivers for Win10 are the same as for Win8.
The software itself works in Windows 10, both x86 and x64.

Hi!
I have the same problem with one Htc Buzz when i try to unlock.

In Legacy mode, i put the sim card from clip in the phone.

Only in HBOOT can see the phone in COM3 and can chose conect/disconect.

When switch to FASTBOOT and chose Read phone info i recieve:

Using Fastboot mode...
Reading common information

(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.01.0002
(bootloader) version-baseband: 3.35.20.10
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: 0622
(bootloader) version-main: 2.24.164.1
(bootloader) serialno: HT0CCPY05590
(bootloader) imei: 3557970XXXXXXXX
(bootloader) product: buzz
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-7225
(bootloader) modelid: PC4910000
(bootloader) cidnum: VODAP304
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4192mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: HTC
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: dirty-ab9ba933
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 11
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
Execution time is 31(ms)
all: Done!
Reading secure flag information
... (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
Execution time is 31(ms)
OKAY
Reading CID information
... (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
Execution time is 15(ms)
OKAY
Reading MEID information
... (bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!

In FASTBOOT mode when chose "Switch to modem mode" i recieve:

Trying to swtich into modem mode ...
Sending oem rtask c

... and FASTBOOT menu from phone is frieze.

What i have to do?

Thanks!

Ofcourse fastboot menu will freeze, because it's no longer active. You have to install the drivers for new COM port and then choose it.
The COM port you see in fastboot mode cannot be used, it's an old serial "mirror" to the USB fastboot commands.
