HTC 10 SIM Unlock problem "Failed to enable SIMLOCK" - GSM-Forum

I Use HTC 10 KDDI.
pmeuhljapan
running Android 7.0

S-OFF was succesefull.
But...Sim Unlock is not.
Please help.

I have connected xtc2clip to the phone.
And I ran FTM.
However, "Failed to enable SIMLOCK" is displayed and the SIM lock can not be unlocked.

S - OFF has been successful.
I installed SuperSU from TWRP, it ran successfully in OS mode and succeeded.

Using RUU, return to Android 6.0, try SIM Unlock.
＝＞It is recognized as Android 7.0, and similarly SIM lock can not be unlocked.

Does it means returning from backup?
Unfortunately, there is no backup.
Is it wrong to apply RUU?

Please help me...

You should not have seen this message or FTM menu.

Please do this:

and then repeat unlock process.

Hello. I am have unlocked HTC 10 by the "Sprint" menu in XTC2Tool. But I can not turn on mobile internet - sayes "disconected". Has S-Off + Root. Can not unlock via FTM mode - maybe Android 7.1.1??? Please help.

You should NOT get to this FTM menu, and you should not try to use "sim lock" menu, as it's intended to only LOCK the phone.

Make sure you have copied files to the clip. You should see "XTC 2 Clip" and log text on the display during the unlock process.

There are success logs with oreo on this model but u can try anything

the network unlock for htc 10 au kddi is be successful only on stock kddi rom with locked bootloader
