HTC Desire 816 Sprint Unlock sim Possible?


Hi,

I unlock this phone with "universal sprint unlock" but the phone show "looking service".

I already enable gsm on *#*#4636#*#*,

Anyone solution?

Solution for what?
Do you get "Invalid sim card"?

If not - check your frequencies first, I don't think your phone has GSM.

Like the support said your phone could be only CDMA device
check the specs from HTC site

Network
3G/3.5G - CDMA:

800/1900 MHz

4G - LTE:

800/1900/2500 MHz (LTE)

Means if your country has any of these frequency your phone is unlocked and ready to work then,,

Your phone is unlocked. It just doesn't support frequency that you have in your country.

Yes: just make unlock using Special unlock / IMEI tab, and HFA will be auto-disabled.

here with a desire 816 that requires unlock. my only pain is all my ribbons are broken. the good news is i just ordered for fresh ones and only waiting for they arrival for me to have the device work for my customer.
thanks XTC for being such an authoritative tool when t comes to HTCs.
