Member: 91834 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | I can confirm eMMC problem with these phones. Just revived two M9 0PJA100 with dead Hynix chips. HOSD files weren't helping. After eMMC replacement both HOSD worked right away. Hynix is bad. Hynix is very bad. |

Member: 91834 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | As far as I know you can't check eMMC type by any way other than disassemling the phone. I got 3 M9 here and all of them have Hynix H26M64103EMR. |

Member: 2036352 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | No donīt get me wrong I don't have this issue (not yet) Iīm only interessted if all devices could be affected and if I could check wich emmc it has in download mode when device is running normal. For example: The M9 I have here is showing emmc: samsung...xxx So my thought is......is this device "safe" Edit: ok dontīt get your post before mine was ready..thx |

It seems that some of us are lucky....if you look at this: https://de.ifixit.com/Teardown/HTC+O...Teardown/39166 look at step 10 there are no hynix chips installed...only samsung emmc like printed correctly in download mode /system info ( I suspect) Last edited by shivasrage; 02-14-2017 at 18:23. | |
