newbie: can I unlock one m8 Sprint?

Is is supported this model for unlock.

Just received my xtc2 and am a bit lost

I tried as instructed in the manual and phone is still locked

Well, I discovered that my clip was not activated ;)
I registered and activated it.

did the procedure again and I could:
S-OFF
Change CID to Super CID

But still locked, it says invalid sim card.

If someone confirms I cant unlock it with this toiol then I will start Rooting the phone and using other stuff to try to Sim ulock.

What's the product version of your phone? e.g. m8_ul or m8_chl, etc.

m8_whl and i have t6_whl. there are sprint phone

M8_whl is the one I have, also have opcv1

Both phones I could s off an unlock bootloader with xtc2, but sim unlock is not succeeding

M8 is 5.0.2

Hi, any news? Also have opcv1 from sprint for unlock...

Same issue, could soff, bootloader unlock, but couldn't sim unlock phone

Desire 516? Yes it will. But it doesn't seem to support GSM. It will be unlocked (no more invalid sim message), but *probably* you have to make it RUIM only. We don't have CDMA networks here, so I cannot test exactly.

And forgot to say, the opcv1 got unlocked also, but it is CDMA phone. I changed the band choices in the NVM but it seems modems has no gsm capabilities builtin.
