Hello sir!

Why do you think you need an upgrade? If this option is grayed out (not available), it means your clip has the latest firmware already.

As to the Win32DiskImager error - did you try to replace flex or take another microSD reader please?

I just got the xtc clip 2 trying to unlock A9 the sw say it saved the file and the file is in the clip but when the phone is in ftm mode it dose not pick up the file. I tried to write the filing system from the sw tab now the signature file SF file is gone. When I first started the format it says the 2017s file is missing somehow I found the file put the file in the xtc clip it flashed the file to the clip but everything in the cllip is gone i think the software have some problem with it or if i am doing some thing wrong please let me know.
Please reply back ASAP

Please try to follow this guide:

to repair the clip and then try again to copy files, then repeat procedure for A9.

Hi, already tried to do that I thought my clip was bad that is why ordered a new one but the new one is doing the same thing it formats the sf file and than it would not reimage the file can you please check the version 1.39 before I had reimaged the clip many times and it would work fine but now for some reason it is not doing it.

Hello!

Sorry for late reply. As I wrote before, you should NOT get into this "regular" FTM mode, as built-in simlock option can only lock the phone.

Please make sure correct files are copied for your model, you don't need sf file for this model, you need file from "Special unlock / IMEI" tab, please kindly note it.
