You need to use Test Model only if Auto Method does not work.

Sometime i was also get this error,error belongs to wrong driver,connection between device and pc and data cable.

Try install latest drivers
Make sure battery is connected in mob.
Use another port/cable.

Note-the above problem is confirmed bcoz i tested Lower and latest higher version of firmware is working in qcfir.

REDMI note 5 pro 10000000% working with version 9.5.13 after mi account unlock its lost wifi, not worry use update with versionn 10.0 make it factory reset with sideload. now all clear, everything is ok. use qualcomm 2.8
