UMT

for enabling diag port of mi max 2, you need to unlock bootloader first then root device after that use adb minimal command for enabling diag port, then simply write imei method 1
this is 100% correct success report don't say fake directly without testing, already tested

Latest xiaomi phones like max2 mix2 etc. write protected so if you want to repair imei you have to backup qcn, reset efs and write with umt method 2 (dont reboot) and restore qcn and reboot. Repair done. İf you try repair w/out reset efs, you can not repair.

I tried backup qcn but failed, use emmccsdownload, always hang @ 100%. What can I use to backup qcn?

I use umt gsm 5.2 to write qcn but always fail, same failure with Qpst. And phone is in diag mode. Please any oda method to write or backup qcn for mi max 2 MDE40?
