HI ,
let's we keeps all kind ASUS information on this thread , I seen on forum some user face problems . So i want to inform them tips about asus . Unfortunately, We have no ASUS section on this forum . I already request for the section . Hopefully as soon as will be add ASUS section in this forum . Then we will move to ASUS section . Until become ASUS section we use Android Section

Lets me start using Question and answer

Q: Where to download ASUS firmware ?
A: You can download from ASUS official side , Here is it
Example : I need ASUS T00G , Check Here
Q: How to know the device model?
A: Path: Settings->About-> Model number

Q:How to know the device software version?
A:Path: Settings->About-> software information->Build number

Q: What is ASUS SKU ?
A: Simply we can call its language pack of software version

Q: Can i use any SKU ?
A: No , Software update cannot transfer the software SKU and downgrade the software version and Wrong SKU may cause update failure, please update the same SKU version only !
Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW, CHT->CHT.

Q: How to know my phone SKU ?
A: Go to [Settings] -> [About tablet] -> Build number
Example : WW_epad-9.X.X.X._2012xxxx, where “WW” means SKU.



Q: Can I Update Low Version To Direct Latest Version ?
A: Yes you can but if you try direct update , You can get error on update , Cases some version require another update
Example - Your phone have 1.12 You need update 2.XX , This case you need update V1.18 Update 1st then you can update 2XX

Q: How to know my phone require another update 1st then i can update to latest ?
A: Before download Firmware read 1st You you will see like below "
Note: Please make sure update software version V1.18.40.12 first before update to software version V2.19.40.18
This case you must update 1st V1.18 then you can update V2.19

Q: How To Update ASUS Phone ?
A: You can update With SD/Internal mmc Card also have another way but i cant share until test
You can Download Manual From Support Side or fellow me !

How To Update With SD Card/Internal mmc

Extract Your Firmware
Copy Your zip file - XX-ASUS_T00X-XX-X.XX.XX.XX-user.zip To Phone
Disconnect Usb cable From Phone
You Will Get A Notification Or Down the System Notification bar

Select System Update File Detect....
Click OK
Click Again OK

Phone Will Be Booted On Update...

Wait For Finish , Whenever Finish Its Will Be Reboot

How To Identify ASUS SKU From hang Phone :

• Turn Off The Phone
• Go to Bootloader Mode Using Bootloader Key (Its Depend On Your Model ) Just Search On Google ! Mosly ASUS Bootloader Mode Come Using Volume Up+Power ( Continue Press and Hold both button Until Come Bootloader Mode
• You Can Check SKU & Version To Bootloader Mode !

How To Update ASUS With CMD / ADB Mode ?

• Entry Phone To Recovery Mode
• Select "apply update from ADB"
• 
• Connect Phone To PC & Install Driver
• Now Extract Your Firmware (Download)
• Rename (XXXXXuser.zip ) Your File to Simple Word ( Like azimbahar.zip )
• Now Copy file to your to ADB Folder

• Now Open CMD (Open command prompt（In Programs>Accesories or click Start>Run>"type" cmd)
• Type "adb sideload azimbahar.zip"
• 
• Wait For 100%
  
• After You can Wipe Phone & Reboot
  
• Enjoy !

Simply Unbrick Asus :
Before try Unbrick Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6

This Case , If your phone like this Brick

Its avileable to Entry recovery Mode , Just Off your phone and entry recovery mode , Then try Hardreset And Check , If its still Brick Then Install firmware to Recovery mode !

I have done Unbrick Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 both via recovery mode !

So Attension before doing Unbrick Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6

Tested on many ASUS !

Zenfone 4 (A400CG) Bootloop Solution :

How To Do :

• 1st Download RAW file (available on Google search)
• Copy RAW file to sd card
• Put sd card to phone
• Entry Droidboot mode
• Choose SD Download
• that's it !

How to enter Droidboot on Zenfone 4 A400Cg

1. Make sure the device is turned off, and there is more than 10% of battery life available.
2. Press the combination keys of “Power key + Volume up Key” for 3~5 seconds, release when you see the an Android icon, to enter Update (Droidboot) Mode

• Download firmware (READ #1)
• Rename file name to "K012_sdupdate"
• Copy file to SD card
• Entry phone to bootloader mode
• Select SD Update
• That's it

Bootloader Mode : Volume up +Power Together Until come bootloader menu
