Mi5C not have edl mode, this mode is only qualcomm. Turn on fastboot mode on phone. Vol- and power.
Use last miflash to flash mi5c. First step is unlock bootloader before flashing via miflash.

Thanks...................

Mi 5c Comprehensive Flashing Guide

Mi 5c Comprehensive Flashing Guide

Mi 5c Comprehensive Flashing Guide
by mitch002

Have you bought a Tampered ROM unit of Mi 5c? Or have you accidentally bricked your unit? This guide will walk you thru flashing your beloved Mi 5c.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any bricked / damaged phone after the flashing, please follow the guide carefully should you decide to continue with the process.
Things to prepare before proceeding to flashing Mi 5c:
  • USB C Data cable should be ready.
  • Battery is charged at least 50%.

UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER

First things first, every Mi 5c comes with a locked bootloader, you will need to unlock its bootloader first, use this guide of mine to unlock the bootloader:

[MIUI DEVICE TEAM] How to Unlock Bootloader of Mi5
http://en.miui.com/thread-267361-1-1.html
(Source: Xiaomi MIUI Official Forum)

As soon as your bootloader is unlocked, you will need these drivers:

Download:

Installation of Proper Drivers & Mi Flash Tool:

Download all the Zip files and unzipped accordingly, install "minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4_setup.exe" and "MiFlashSetup-Beta.msi" as the following image:

Put your Mi 5c to Fastboot mode by holding power and vol down together and you will see fastboot bunny icon appear.

Connect your phone to the USB on your PC, preferably the one at the back of the PC so its direct to the motherboard.
you will see your phone detected like this when you click REFRESH

Load, Mi Flash Tool and select the extracted folder which looks like this (make sure there are no spaces in between the filename of the folder otherwise it will cause some errors) C:\meri_images_V8.1.10.0.MCJCNDI_20170224.0000.00_ 6.0_cn\

Select Clean All at the bottom right

Then Click refresh icon and see if your phone has been connected,

Then Click FLASH to proceed

It will look like this upon flnished flashing

Reboot and enjoy your newly flashed Mi 5c!

Hello

This Guide is for flashing any MIUI Rom (China Developer/Stable ROM) on Mi 5c using MI Flash and Fastboot ROM(Fastboot Method).
FAQs
What's the difference between Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM?

A: 1) To flash Recovery ROM, you just need to put the ROM file into your device's SD card root directory, and flash it in Recovery mode. Flashing Recovery ROM will not wipe your user data or the files in internal storage.
A: 2) To flash Fastboot ROM, you'll need to connect your device to a computer, and use ROM flashing tools. You can choose different fastboot script to decide whether to wipe data or not

Q: When should I flash Recovery ROM, and when to flash Fastboot ROM?
A: Normally you just need to flash Recovery ROM for regular update. If you want to wipe data to solve some bugs/issues etc., you should flash Fastboot ROM.

Q:Different MIUI versions explained: Developer/Stable/Ported/Local ROMs
A:Go to This Thread.
Q: Want to check camera of Mi 5c? [New]
A: Rate it here [Updated 08/02/2017]

Make sure to get latest fastboot rom for your Mi 5c.

Update : How to do fastboot command? Right? And flash Twrp recovery?
First unlock your phone offically ofcourse else you'll face unauth. account after boot.
Power off or hold power button if you are unable to power off your phone. this is force shut down.
Second hold vol -- and power button.
You see hmmm a bunny ? yeah . good

Now extract that download zipand run flash.bat Twrp Here
All done : Pictures ?? here

Kind time of day. Can someone tell me, I'm fighting for the second day or anything I can not achieve.
The situation next is MI5c, constant rebuses on the MI icon, in fasbut comes in, installed a custom recovery, but the touch does not work at all (rebooted 1000 times) with the mouse tried to do wipes - everything passes without errors but nothing changes. On the computer in the Explorer there is a phone all the folders but nothing can be copied to it (from the phone to the PC it is possible), and from the computer to the phone there is no writing of the equipment occupied or disabled. Stitched the myth, everything goes smoothly, the download lasts 340 seconds all green, after the reboot and again reboots on the MI icon. to the computer I connect, again all the same folders which on idea already should not be (VK, Viber, etc.). I went to flash from under Linux, everything goes ok, but the picture remains the same. Stitched through the terminal adb, too, all passes without errors, but the result is the same. It seems that there is a write protection in the phone's memory. In the Device Manager, the FASBUT is defined as the android adb interface. I visited different firmware, different mifleshi. I went to reflash the recovery, after reboot it returns to the original. I visited three different computers. Can anyone have any thoughts?
THANK YOU!
