T-Mobile SDA .. not connect to PC - GSM-Forum

Using a T-Mobile SDA and Activesync 4.2. I am using a Motorola V3 cable ( confirmed working) but when connected it only charges the phone.

I use a blackberry cable and it only charges the phone.

active Sync does not detect the device.

Please help

try
Start Menu>Accessories>USBSwitch
set to Serial

Under programs then accessories, use the program modem link. then activate that, make sure you have the drivers for the phone modem from your original cd and then plug in the usb and it will install and then after that...go to network connections and create a new dialup connection...and make sure it dials *99# with no username and password...and don't change the baud rate it will mess things up..unless you can get it to work w/ a higher baudrate..you really don't even need a higher one seen as you can only download at 130kbs but i my computer for some reason i don't think it's going that fast...i don't know...on the phone it does but not the computer...hmmm

if I select Modem Link it gives the indication that Active Sync will not perform while modem link is on.

activating modem link did not help

I do not have the CD that comes with the phone.

i have 2 cell and i have unlock 1 cell im when connect 1 mobile thats ok and i have unlockd but when i puc 2nd cell thats not responding usb divise recognised
