Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 MTK battery temperature low - GSM-Forum

Redmi Note 4 MTK (nikel). Customer tried to replace battery with the wrong model, currently on correct battery all i have is bootloop. I tried 3 different batteries - same result. I checked bottom flex with charge port, side keys flex. Every once in a while phone boots if is on charger but says that battery temperature is too low. Already flashed couple firmware files, same result.

If i connect powered off phone to the charger i see red battery icon and a text that i should unplug the phone after couple seconds.

Any idea what else to check? I don't see any visible damage on the board except C1155 and C1130 next to the battery connector that were missing and i already replaced them.

I got scammed into buying such a phone with the exact same problems. They seem to have been caused by intense overheating. Have you managed to repair it? Any hints would be much appreciated.

No, it's still somewhere in the store, waiting for charger ic to be replaced to test if it helps.
