Anyone fixed an iPod Classic A1136 with no scroll or centre button or any of the >> << Menu buttons working, have removed the scroll cable and that just leaves the bare buttons x 5 on the logic board...

No charge, found charge port voltages ok
Found Diode D8800 shorted to ground and very hot, have removed this and while there is now no heat its still showing to ground.

someone have the route...

When charge cable plugged in the phone recognizes and battery charge symbol appears, within a second it disconnects.

phone will connect to iTunes ok but no charge, have reinstalled iOS...

iPhone 4, the IMEI is not locked but when sim card inserted says the sim is not compatible, try another sim from a different carrier ?

just using a standard nano sim with adapter which works on...

iPhone 6s shuts down fully when entering sleep mode on its own, if sleep button depressed, screen turns off normally and will turn back on as normal, but if left for any given time the phone shuts...
