I only have Windows Defender but have white-listed everything I can think of.

I have an iPad 2 that is stuck in DFU mode and won't restore, it just shows the apple logo and empty bar and goes no further.

I used 3u tools also and it showed serial number and UDID as blank.

I will add the phone previously had what looked like minor water damage in that area (was cleaned up).
