You could re-use a few parts, but you would need to replace almost all the internals. The cost of the parts would be much more than the cost of a new phone.

All cell phone jammers work pretty much the same. Broadcast white noise in the phone's receive frequencies, and the phone will think that there is no signal.

CDMA phones are not locked in the same way as GSM phones.

The CDMA network has a data base of ESNs. If your phone is not listed, it will not work. To be listed, it must be set up on the network....
