Cruiser Operation Language - How to change? - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone

how do i change the cruiser operating language from chinese to english? i cant read the damn thing!

hi ooopps ok bring up cruiser
1st directly under cruiser top left 1st button in 2nd line press settings this has hammer and cog emblem click, now a box will appear, 3rd tab is language, 3rd down english

ok, the first button on top (in englisch called commun). Then the first name which appears (in englisch called settings). Then you have 5 options on top. In english its called "languages". then the third option called "english". And then ok (its the button in the middle of the buttom of the window.

Then cruiser tels me to restart my cruiser. So restart and i hope you will have chinese!

now here's a tricky one.. whatif the language tab doesn't exist? i checked out the help file and i know exactly what you're trying to tell me.. but it aint there!

what next?

? that looks really tricky! where did you get your cruiser file from? try do download again, uninstall your cruiser version and install the new one again!

I think Chinese is a seperate "version" of Cruiser, you have to buy the Chinese dongle specially and there's no way to change it from Chinese to english as an end-user.

I think if you were to write Mizar a nice email/PM explaining the situation, along with your Card ID (click it once, copy and paste the code and DO NOT click it again!) he might be able to give you a new Activation code that enables english.
I'm not at all sure of this though, I could be talking out my arse.

You can click "Generate card ID" as many times as you want, it won't do any damage. But once you've generated a card ID and sent it off, don't click generate again because it will mean the activation code you get back doesn't work.

So, are you trying to say that you are running the show here now when Lead and Mizar are off coding?

You should be able to change from chinese to english no problem

have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling cruiser?

also try changing the language then restarting the PC to see if that brings up english instead

If you have no language tab then you may have a local version which can only display 1 language in this case you would probably need to upgrade to standard version. this maybe paid or free but you would need to contact mizar for more information on this

Just download the standard version from the support area and install.
