The line regarding 8210 should be
NSM-3 8210 DCT3BT2.TIA 65 05 0 0

Btw, if anyone is uncertain about what are the two CFG bytes, then he should look at the beginning of the full-flash (suitable for Dejan 1.0) file:

20 65 0F 59 05 FD 80 12 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

I marked the correct CFG bytes by italic letters.

Best regards,
Lead.

Hi!

This is from my models.cfg (Knok 22/18):

NSM-3 8210 DCT3BT2.TIA 65 06 0

How come it's 06 if 05 should be used? (Lead)

And how come there's a "0" after the lines you've typed (Nutzo), I don't have there zeroes in my models.cfg?

Why isn't 8250, 8290, 8850, 8855 and 8890 in the models.cfg when I download Knok? (BTW - I can't download the new version, I get a broken .zip?)

It has probably something to do with the unreleased kNok flasher.

Why yes? Then XPMOBILE could not release his kNok XP...

Best regards, Lead.

Yes - I understand your explanation of WHY it should be 05, but I'm wondering why it's 06 in the kNok-release?
As far as I remember, I've been flashing 8210 without problems using kNok (with 06)

I have 22/18 - what's the newest version? Has MobileXP functions kNok doesn't have?

Not understood? Are you commenting my question about why some phones aren't directly supported, or my question about why I can't download the new kNok

http://lead2000.host.sk/files/knok_phoenix_1.zip - broken zip for me...

The meaning of the second value according to Dejan:
Parameter 2 is used for hardware definition of Vpp, Flash size, etc. It seems that Parameter 2 must not have value above than 7 !??

Forget MobileXP. I've modified the kNok 22/18 by adding the 3310->3315 upgrade function and performing some minor modifications. I plan to add some more functions, therefore I started a new project - kNok Phoenix. Phoenix is the name of a mythical bird which, when it comes to death, it turns to ash. The ash then ignites in golden fire, and the Phoenix is revived in it's own sacred fire. To this end, the Phoenix is an immortal, never really dying, just reviving from its own remains...

After trying several times I've got it now too - thanks!

Can you get 3310->3315 update to work under Windows XP?

What exactyl is the function doing? Just the same as PC-local, or is it making the other changes too? (So picture message 8 (clipart) isn't the plane but the correct clipart)

It works exactly like PC Locals - it turns the Product Profile bit 30 to 1. But it is working under Windows 2000, so it should work also under Windows XP. If it does not, then you should first run for example any other Nokia-Tool to get the phone into local mode...
