C55 switch off. - GSM-Forum

Many siemens auto switch off while the lights go off, but if the phone is consuming(talking, playing pressing buttons) it never happens. Any solution for this Siemens disease?

if in some sl45 case, it would be the clock crystal that cause this, also found some case with defective - loose connection bga to board - or lost link from cpu to flash ic

same problem, have a55 auto shut off. the time is random, but about 30 second always off. but when i use it for calling, its okay, why ??

dialog, flash, ram, cpu has been chaNGED.

I did what MOOSANI tell me but still the same problem. I'll pas to hardware repair with this phone if there is no idea. Any way thankx to all.

i have the same problem, my c55 auto shut off, i've flashed it but not working, then i try to change crystal but the problem still the same. Anyone can solve this?

hi I have the same problem with C55 i have changed the whole sofware not use still swich off.Sure hardware problem.HELP if anyone have an idea

Solved by myself(talking about switching off when lights go out). Reball Dialog IC!!!

I've tried all of above but still powers off itself :-(
And it seems it is a lot of defective x55 family phones on a market...

This is the story, exactly!
1.I flash/eeprom/log/map/load map it to V18(same flash ic hardware=software) and same problem!
2.I change RTC & without testing i reball Dialog IC. Now everything OK at 101%.

i have try s55,
if the memory is full (phone book, sms), it's some time powering of outomatic.
after erased it, start working fine.
so my gest if repair with flasing, use ful flash. not just upgrading.
or just empty the memory

My c55 auto switch off when i plug the cable and try to connrct to it. Is it a hardware problem or simply configuration?

Yes DataCable. very software i try, this probrl occurs, QuickSync, Data Exchange and an unlock software.
