Security code nokia 6230 - GSM-Forum

I have a Nokia 6230 Which i have forgotten the security code on. When i enter the pin code the phones starts and the keypad is locked, to open it i need the security code.

I see the following solotions.

1. Use dku-2 cable which i have and use fbus by mestro to reset.
2. Use Ir or Bluetooth and gammu+ to read the code.

The problem is the keypad is locked when it turns on so i can not activate bluetooth or Ir to use gammu+.

When i connects the cable nothing happens , it doesnt connect with the phone. I got the cable with a 7610 and i have tested it works with 7610 and 6630.

Somebody please help me resetting the security code.

Use DCT4 security code reader . Read field 35 of PM and there is the security code there .

if u have twister box follow the the following steps
connect the using the right cable usually the cable are named that is writen 6230
using dct4 selcet and do ui settings.

Is not a command that i starts the phone without sim card and i enter a command and the IR activates.?

no way......you must use any sara's box to find your user code....../read PM, use karwos suite and voila/ otherwise you will lose all user information....... regards

what cable are you using? 6230? or some other?

i use a cable i got with a nokia 7610, i connect it with the 6230 but nothings happen on the pc? it wont connect........
the cable works fine on same pc with nokia 7610 and 6630

the 7610 cable is wrong one for 6230 the pins are different.

there is not inaf have only cable, You`ll need box thet can read PM from phone.
In my case (I use Grifin box) there is not posible reset or change user code on 6230. Only then phone was flashed, code is reseted to defalt.
Here I have question: If user code is located in PM why it reseted after flashing? And why Grifin`s "set user code to defolt" not work on 6230 and olso "set to factory defalt" not work too?

U can use the same cable supplied with 7610 to connect 6230, i'm using it on my 6230 since ages and its as working smooth as butter....Its the same DKU2. no difference at all.

MCode is software that runs on Symbian platform (S60) and allows you to calculate
Master Code for Nokia DCT3 (6110,8210,etc..) and DCT4 (8310,etc...)phones.
