"Error flashing block at address:" - why?

The flash process in not always successful because of these 3 reasons:
  1. Low phone battery voltage.
  2. Bad VPPFLASH voltage - for K750/D750/W800 it should be between 2.8V and 3.3V or set to 9.15V. You should not use 5V.
  3. Faulty flash chip.

Please don't blame Cruiser when you get this error.

The voltage between VPPFLASH and GND pins should be around 3V, within 10% tolerance.
If your cable provides another voltage (for example 5V), you will encounter flash errors.
The voltage of 9.15V is probably not supported by your cable design and you may very easily damage phone hardware.

You may encounter this error when converting new HW revisions of red CID49 K60x/V600/W900/W550/W600 phones to brown CID49.
These phones are not supported for non-TP conversion to brown yet.
Use a TP method instead.

These two lines indicate new HW type:
Applet error: ERROR|EraseBlock| 04 FF FF FF 43
Applet error: ERROR|EraseBlock| 04 FF FF FF 1F

Other values indicate hardware failure.

Code:
Programming flash...
Error flashing block at address: 0x50010000
Script error: Flash error [x.xx.xx]
This error occurs because you are trying to flash raw FS flash file to a W550/W600 phone via TP.
This fails because of 2 reasons:
  1. NAND flashing is not allowed in Cruiser when using TP,
  2. and W550/W600 raw FS flash files span over NAND flash area.
First you must convert the phone to brown (via TP or without TP) and only then you may flash the raw FS file again successfuly.
