Problem unlock VS2 - GSM-Forum

I can't unlock VS2, I enter phone in test mode, connect cable( flash cable- not original usb, cable working- I flashed phone), press unlock and my log:
Phone must be in TEST-MODE: * + # + Power
Connecting, wait...

Can anyone help. I tried to unlock a VS2 and got all the information as above. I followed the instructions, Sim card in, switch on, switch off and switch on again then press 52824**. After I enter the last * the screen goes back to normal and then I entered the unlock code 81357012, and nothing happened. I switched off the phone then back on again and it was still locked. Is there certain versions that cant be unlocked and creates the wrong code, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

If software show you code and unlock instruction this means that this phone supported.
After you enter last * you have to see sim-lock menu on phone LCD. if you don't se sim-lock menu make unlock procedure again.
Use ordianary sim-card, no need to use any kind of test-cards.
Use always only one sim-card (no need to use different sim-cards during unlock process).

Thanks for your reply. It didn't show the sim-lock menu after I entered the last * so I will try again next week when the customer comes back.

vs3 don´t have unlock menu , i have flash version v08 , v10 , a47 same thing read unlock code but when i press 52824** don´t make nothing ,. Any sugestion ? Thank you .

All steps in VS3 unlock procedure VERY important !

Hello,

There is no any other suggestion. Only my old suggestion:
make unlock process again
after unlock process finished: make all steps like described in software log window exactly.

To show the sim-lock menu you have to enter the code with a sim card in the phone from the network that the phone was originally locked too. So if the phone was locked to Vodafone, put a Vodafone sim in and enter the code. After you have entered the last * the sim lock menu will appear.
