Question regarding K750i CID49 to CID36 - GSM-Forum

Hi I want to downgrade a k750i cid49 to cid36 and by reading other posts it seems that cruiser is able to do this.

Question:
If I downgrade, will it then be possible to use FAR Manager (which is CID29 & 36 only) for explorations of the FS?

You can not downgrade CID...

Cruiser allows you too flash CID36 phones with CID49 files, AND CID49 phones with CID36 files! This might be what confused you...

Aha, so if I understand even if I crossflash the phone with CID36 files the phone and all security certificates will still be CID49? And thus all applications that ony support CID36 wont work still?

Damned CID49....

That's correct. Just use Cruiser for exploring FS?!
