Arrow How to repair Motorola phones here !

Hi,

This is the list of common problems with Motorola phones, and ways to repair it :

  • PH_CODE_SIG_ERROR: xx
Phone firmware signature does not match ! To repair this problem flash phone with ******* FIRMWARE ! DO NOT use "Repair" button!
  • MEM_MAP_BLANK Service Req'd
Phone firmware is erased. To repair this problem, flash phone with ******* flash file. DO NOT use "Repair" button !
  • SW Version: NOT FOUND
Phone has erased PDS. To repair this problem allways flash phone with ******* file, and if problem persists PRESS REPAIR button
  • When insert battery, phone shows:


    ERROR:
    DE
    AD
Flash chip is damaged, and it needs to be replaced. After replacement, You have to perform flashing, PDS repair and IMEI write procedure.

  • When insert battery, phone shows:

    ERROR:
    DAB

    Or

    ERROR:
    0
Bootcore security does not match. There are two ways to repair it:
Press REPAIR button. If You get "Unable to connect" perform REPAIR using TEST POINT !

  • When insert battery phone starts in BOOTLOADER mode with NO ERRORS

There is two reasons for this:
- Flash Chip OTP does not match CPU SN To repair this problem, WRITE IMEI to phone

- Flash Chip is damaged and needs to be replaced


That is most common problems with p2k familly in motorola phones. If You have different problem, please report it in this topic.

how to do after change flash ic L6? when i press connect it will say unknown flash chip 0000 8988
