PC not detecting 8100 blackberry mass storage device

I am using 8100 blackberry device with latest version 4.5 but my computer does not detects mass storage device.
followed below steps... no luck
Installed 4.5
installed DM 4.6
Installed latest software on PC of 8100 4.5
formatted the media card using blackberry device.
formatted the media card using Card reader(from PC)
It is not showing any removable device in device manager.
On blackberry settings are :-
Media Card support: On
Encryption Mode:None
Mass storage Mode support: On
Auto enable Mass Storage Mode When connected: prompt.

changed all possible settings no luck...

Media card is working fine if i use with different card reader.
and also it works fine with the blackberry device.( i am able to store pic)
also if i plug different blackberry device to my laptop, it will detect the memory card.
and also trying removing version4.5 to installed version 4.2 no luck.

i am facing this problem after unlocking the blackberry device...

please suggest me what else can be done....

Faisal,

From my experience, if you unlocked your 8100 using MFI and especially if loaded the debranded VSM(09712-002) you will need to re enable Mass Media Storage in the 'Engineering Screen' of the bb. If Mass Storage IS enabled in Card settings under options, but is not working for you, it is most likely a internally disabled feature that can be re-activated in the 'escreen'. This is a fairly simple process...drop me a line if you need help with that. There used to be some fix/patch for this floating around the web, but it is, IMHO, safer to do it via eng. screen..

Plug in BB.
Right Click My Computer
Click Manage
Click Disk Management
Look at the right hand side and find your BB's media card and change the drive to something obscure like X or V-anything that is not common. Everything should work fine now.

PS: otherwise u have to reload another OS
