Disappointed with All courriers

It has come to my attention that this section has fast becoming a shame to name section. Yet i believe that alot of these delivery problems have arisen by the seller offering and extending the promises of the courrier company that they use.
Within the UK we use royal mail special delivery - this was a good service and now i find that i have over 10 claims with post watch over the service ( one that used to be second to none) and more and more parcels are getting delivered late or failing the deadline times. This problem is increased even more with dealing with other countries, dispite having paid alot of money for a service.
So what can you do?

Ensure that the package is labled up in a way that there can be no/little room for error.

Maybe print the lable- so that handwritting can not contribute for problems.

The only guarranteed service for delivery is if you deliver it yourself. when a parcel/ package is being handled by a massive infrastructure and many people, it is nature that things will go wrong/ missing.

More frequently we are seeing that people are having problems with the delivery problems an then blaming and flaming them as cheaters when it should be looked at that the real cheaters etc are the delivery services.
We pride ourselfs on the service that we give and it is the ones that deliver the goods that make us look bad.
I have had 2 UFS go walkies this week while going abroad and i am fed up with it!!

Everyone has had problems with post etc- but this my friends is becoming a bigger part of our lives.
