UB is the best team but how they forget to think.............?

1. Can't erase PM and certificate from USB (or DEAD USB).
=============================================
Some model doesn't support from F-Bus. If we try from F-but than it shows "Terminate with error: No available for this ID: Probably Bad Cable etc" Cable is Ok probably boot loader problem. In this case, they have to give us option to erase USB . But, there is no option.


2. They do not give us choose and flash using USB
======================================
As previously, we can't choose the file say MCU, PPM and Image to flash USB mood. But, we need product code.

3. We can only flash using Product code using DEAD USB mood
===============================================
OK, this is ok but let us know wehre is "signature bin" file in support. Not have any signature.bin file in support. Without signature bin, We can't flash using DEAD USB mood.

4. UB must depend on Phonex file, if we want to flash USB

There is only signature.bin file in Phonex. But, I did not see any signature.bin file with MCU, PPM, Image etc in the support. Phonex files are too big to download. If we want to download the files upper version than the product code, then comes the problem of signature bin file. And as you know, in DEAD USB mood, without this file, even "Flash" doesn't high light.


5. RPL Backup and Restore Function

Sometimes we need to backup alive mobile's RPL and later restore it back to phone. Where this function in UB???

You have a good point in what you are saying,but the most important thing is the f-bus flashing,not the usb.The old problem with bootloader id must be solved.I have alot Nokia boxes and i say this UB is one of my first choices so pls work on this UB Team.....we beg you and request this fix.

I have install Windows XP and MS Net firmwarok 3.5 in my computer for Universal Box.

I can't flash choosing files according my will. And If I choose file then there are no signature bin file in the UB site. SO, I download of Phonex file and I put it inside UB. while I hit the button, it searches something for 5 minutes
and says "The procedure entry point _ftol2_sse could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll"

and as soon as it shows another error screen and says "Terminate with error : Framework: Internal error occurred for configuration. Details : MS XML parser 6.0 is not installed (00010123)"

Then, I see in the control panel, the MX XML parcer 6.0 is present there. Again I downloaded it from:-

Download details: MSXML 6.0 SP1

Then, I try to install it and it says "higher version already present"

Now, tell me the team what is this problem???

Team we need our previous USB Flashing Button. After bug fix then we need latest version. Thankx

1: certificate erasing /writing is not allowed by usb because only uart (FBUS) loaders have this function. So usb loaders are supporting only flashing..

2: We've disabled this function because many users selected wrong files and phones gone dead. Now you can't make any mistake, you should select product code (you can check the name also of the selected code) and your phone will be 100% working. What is the difference between the two options? In this case you should know just the region EURO3, etc and select only this. In "old" case it was more complicated, if you was tired, you've selected wrong files, or not all files and then phone was dead, restarted after few sec, only white screen...

3: usb flashing is supported also from normal mode, so not only from dead mode..

4: you can download all files by product code directly, or select/download step by step with online flash function.

5: BB5/maintenance tab. There is read certs -> this will read the npc, ccc, hwc,... certificates and you can restore them any time with restore certificates button.

Yes, this will come in coming update, but there are always other jobs before this. I hope you can understand me, and you like our work

Are you using latest Microsoft Windows service pack? SP3 in case of WinXP
